Each terracotta Never Dry Plant Pal is specially designed to release just the right amount of moisture into the soil so it does not dry out. Either place a bottle of water, or the glass bottle from the Plant Pal kit, into the Plant Pal, turn it upside down and twist into the soil. As the soil dries the terracotta Plant Pal is designed to release just the right amount of water. It cannot overwater! Just refill the bottles when empty. 6.25″
