Roots - the power behind the plant. Roots are the engine of the plant, but because we can't see them, their importance is too often overlooked. Growing in standard plant containers always results in roots that wrap around in a circle, a deformity that compromises plant health. Air-Pot containers eliminate wrapping and promote healthy root development. How does Air-Pot® technology work? The shape of the pot wall directs each root to an air hole. Air dehydrates the tip, prunes it and stimulates root branching. The process is repeated until there is a huge mass of healthy fibrous roots. The air holes also ensure perfect drainage and aeration of the nutrient medium, creating ideal conditions for healthy bacteria to release more nutrients for the plant.
