Insulated 4 Inch Diameter Aluminium Ducting For Bathroom Fans 5m or 10M Length

When you fit a new fan, its always worth thinking about the 4 Inch ducting too, especially if the old setup is old and full of fluff, debris and maybe even mould. If your loft is particularly cold in winter, then moisture will settle in the ducting and then this can generate mould in the ducting too. With Insulated Ducting, the inner pipe is maintained at a warmer temperature due to the insulation and more steam actually gets outside where it belongs. Here at Byretech, we know a thing or two about fans and even with our fantastic inline Turbo and Cyclone HIB fans, they supply a relatively low quality non insulated plastic 4 inch ducting in the kit. Now the only thing we would say is that the quality of the insulated aluminium ducting is, it’s stronger and if you catch it during insulation on a sharp bit of timber or a nail, it’s much less Likely to rip compared with the plastic variety. Suitable for all 4 inch bathroom fans when you have to exhaust through a roof space and the ducting actually expands  / extends to 10m or 33ft in length. Its also easily cut to size. If you have a ceiling mounted fan, then putting a water trap on the fan is also a good idea to make sure water doesn’t run back into the fan and blow the electronics.
