Description Lime-containing water leads to calcification in steam humidifiers. Using the descaling cartridge can significantly reduce this negative effect. The cartridge is screwed into the water tank of the steam humidifier after being placed in water for 24 hours before first use. The odorless resin must first absorb water to achieve full performance. There are two ways to replace the descaling cartridge after it has been used up: Either just replace the granules (only possible with Premium descaling cartridges) or replace the entire cartridge (possible with Premium and Economy descaling cartridges).
